All of Abe Mor Diamonds are Conflict free

Abe Mor Diamond Cutters has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. Through policies such as the Kimberley Process, diamonds are tracked from mine to market. The industry, in partnership with the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organizations, monitor diamond exports to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds.

All diamonds sold by Abe Mor Diamond Cutters  are warrantied to be conflict free. If one of our suppliers was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would instantaneously sever that relationship.

Diamonds are mined throughout the world, including Australia, Africa, Russia and Canada. Diamonds are a major source of benefits to African nations, employing millions and providing healthcare to hundreds of thousands. In many cases it is the prime source for foreign currency and trade. The Kimberley process is an internationally recognized system used to track, certify and document diamonds. In 2003, congress and the President passed a law making it unlawful for any US diamond retailers to buy diamonds from manufacturers who do not have documentation warranting that all diamonds sold are obtained through legitimate channels. Presently, the US Customs Service actively enforces the Kimberley Process and monitors all diamonds that enter American ports.
